Colorado Christmas

This Christmas we were blessed with the opportunity to travel home for 12 days. It was so wonderful to be able to take a break from work, school, and the business, and relax and spend time with our families. The plane trips were a little rough, especially with snow delays on the way back to South Carolina, but we survived! Some of our trip highlights included:

  • Meeting our new nephew, Hudson (What a cutie!)

  • Massages at Copperfalls Spa in Castle Rock (ahhh, fabulous. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for watching the boys.)
  • Seeing "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" in the theatre together (We also saw "Life of Pi" with my parents and my brother, Ryan)
  • Hudson Gardens light display

  • Snow (The first day it snowed, Steve and Christian shoveled, built a snowman, and took a little sledding venture all within an hour. Of course, Christian hasn't seen snow since he was 15 months old. This was also Lucas' first sight of snow.)

  • Annual Cookie Bake day at the R household (So fun to be a part of it this year. We certainly were very busy!)

  •  Christmas Eve with the R family

  •  Christmas Day with the E family

  • Lucas' First Birthday party (Separate post to follow.)
  • Starbucks (I had to add that in there. I think we went almost every day.)
And some more fun photos, for good measure. :o)

Such a sweet time with our families, there is no other place we would rather be. And...we are praying that there will be a move this Summer!
